Thanushka Wijayapala
Profile
Thanushka is the founder and the Director of Ripplearch Ltd. With experience on a wide range of projects around the world, her interests spans across design, arts, project management as well as the evolving technology in Architecture.
Prior to Ripplearch, Thanushka gained experience with various practices throughout the UK, Seychelles and Sri Lanka. Through Ripplearch, Thanushka has provided architectural services throughout Europe.
Education
Thanushka initially studied with the Colombo School of Architecture in Sri Lanka. Gain her professional qualification from the Sri Lankan Institute of Architects (2000). Then Thanushka specialized in BIM (Building Information Modelling) Management and gain her MSc from Middlesex University in the UK (2016).
Project Overview
Thanushka has worked on a wide range of international projects and design contests. Her expertise span across the field of residential, office interiors, and commercial architecture. Thanushka was the main interior BIM coordinator/ consultant for the 139 unique apartments at The Whiteley Project – a redevelopment of an iconic London landmark. Apartments range from one-bedroom apartments to duplexes and vast palatial penthouses.
